Whew! I’m exhausted… It’s the weekend again, right? Oh wait, it’s only Tuesday? Ick. It has been a hectic week and a half what with starting a new job, getting a car and working on the wedding.
That’s right people, I am a car owner again and it is glorious. First road trip is only 4 weeks away! It’s a sage green VW and it’s fun to drive 🙂
On Saturday Carver and I took a break from our car-buying to have some lunch at one of his favorites: Pane Bianco. If you read anything over the past couple weeks this may sound familiar- it is owned by the same guy who runs Pizzeria Bianco. It was equally delicious: market sandwich for carver and an arugula salad for me. On the side? Oh some Mexican coca cola light, a wedge of bread and a scrumptious little candy. Perfect lunch outside under the tent though it was very warm.
How is work you ask? Oh well it’s awesome! Great group of people and my cube is not nearly as depressing as the Boston one was. I have a calendar, some office supplies and a bag of snacks but that’s it. Hopefully this weekend I will add more personal touches.
I’m currently hooked on a new breakfast: 1/2 cup raspberries, 1/4 cup part skim ricotta and 1 teaspoon honey. 3 points of yummy. Give it a try- if you need more food pair with a slice of toast.
